How to order a vegeterian food in Mexico?

How to order a vegeterian food in Mexico?
The answer is simple. you have to have someone with you who can speak Spanish. Otherwsie best of luck!

Try "sin pollo, sin carne". Without Chicken without meat.. does not work... they simply dont understand what you want if you are asking in English. First of all, there is hardly any vegetarians in here so they dont know the concept of what you need. They ask if cheese is okay. or if beans are okay and it goes on....

  1. I am going to try Tacos today. But it might be with pork. will let you know how it tastes. The client is sponsoring our lunch today so don't have many options. Meanwhile had a few lunches with subway and sandwiches but those options do not always work when you are with a group.

  2. The tacos turned out to be tortilla (makyachi poli) wrapped around pork, lemon and a very very spicy salsa sauce. Uchaki lagli. Others did not even dare to taste much of that sauce. But it was very tasty. Rest of the colleagues were from Europe and US, so it was way beyond their capacity to have that sauce. Only Mexicans and Indians can probably eat that much spicy. I did not like the pork part of it. was chewy. so the second one had it with only tortilla and the sauce. It was like polichi surali.
